Hi guys,
This day I made this little Danbo, she's made of paper.
Some of you may know Danbo from Yotsuba&!
For the others:
she's a cute Cardboard robot made by Ena and Miurachan. Actually they build Danbo out of old Cardboard for a school project about recycling. But as Yotsuba came, Miurachan jumped into the Cardboard Robot and they told the five year old girl that it's a real robot named "Danbo".
Danbo is a friendly robot, she has a switch on the right of her head which make her eyes glow, also there's a slot in her chest. You can throw coins in the slot because Danbo will need them to stay alive 'cause she's a environmental friendly robot which uses coins and not electricity.

I LOVE Yotsuba&! :-) It is one of my favorite manga. I have even lent my copies to my mother and told her that she had to read it, and that is something I do not often do with manga. Very cute photograph!

thanks, i also love the mangas, found them a month ago and can't stop reading them :D that's why i'm doing this series of Danbo because "she"'s my favorite "person" next to yotsuba ;)

Have you read Azumanga Daioh yet? They're by the same author and also amusing although they're of a different flavor than Yotsuba. :-) Additionally I was able to get all five of them in a single omnibus for a better price!

No, here in Germany i first couldn't find the yotsuba&! mangas so i imported the english version from the US.
But thanks for the tip, i'll try to find them ;)
